Requirements & Important Safety / Handling Information:
Must be installed in a proper heatsink – inadequate cooling leads to thermal runaway and diode failure.
Use a constant-current driver only: max 4000mA recommended (many users run 3.0–3.5A safely; voltage compliance ≥4.2V).
Static-sensitive device – always ground yourself and use ESD precautions when handling or installing.
Keep the lens spotless – avoid smoke/soot buildup from close engraving; clean gently with optics-safe methods.
Mandatory eye protection: Wear OD-rated safety glasses for 420–460nm wavelengths at all times. Even diffuse reflections can cause permanent eye damage.
Never aim at people, animals, aircraft, vehicles, or property – high-power visible lasers are extremely hazardous.
